Although group pilgrimages are still very popular and most practical, in recent years more and more people have been requesting independent pilgrimages. These are pilgrimages for couples, families or smaller parties. Pilgrimages as they used to be!
To accommodate these request we have hand selected a number of destinations suitable for an independent pilgrimage and yet still economical: Rome, Lourdes, Fatima, and Greece. Multiple departure dates will allow flexibility while planning your pilgrimage and all departures will be guaranteed regardless of the number of participating pilgrims. In some cases it may only be one or two couples and in others a significantly higher number. Also each destination will offer a choice of two hotel plans to best suite your traveling needs and budget
On your pilgrimage you will visit all of the sites as if you were on a escorted tour and then you will have free time to explore and experience your chosen destination at your own pace. Our local hosts will meet you upon arrival, conduct an orientation briefing, explain all of the logistics of local sightseeing tours, help you with local information and be available to you a need basis throughout your stay. They will also make sure that your departure transfers are operated smoothly.
Should you wish to extend your stay at any of these destinations, we will be happy to accommodate you. Our “Rome Forever” pilgrimage may even be combined with extensions to Assisi, Florence, and Venice or with any combination of the three as travel between Italian cities is fast and comfortable via Italian Trains.
