Day 1, Wednesday - Depart the USA
Depart the USA for your flight to Croatia. Your flight includes meals, drinks, and in-flight entertainment.
Day 2, Thursday - Arrive in Dubrovnik, Time at leisure, Welcome Dinner
Arrive in Dubrovnik and transfer to your hotel. Take some time to explore on your own and then join us for a welcome dinner where you'll sample some of the local cuisine.

Day 3, Friday - Dubrovnik City Tour, Time at leisure
This morning tour “Old Dubrovnik†on foot. View the Franciscan Monastery which houses the oldest functioning pharmacy and is said to have been the first pharmacy in Europe open to the public. Continue on to the Bell Tower clock which is known for its two bronze statues that are famed Dubrovnik “greensâ€, the symbols of passing time. Next goto St. Laurence's Fortress. This fortress was built in the 11th century to protect the city from the Venetians. It is said that the Venetians had intended to build their own great fortress in the very same location in order to hold Dubrovnik powerless against them. However, once they arrived to start building the people of Dubrovnik had already beat them to the punch. From here proceed to the Sponza which guards the precious historical documentation of Dubrovnik and Rector's Palace, home to the cultural and historical wing of the Dubrovnik museum. Take the rest of the day to venture on your own.

Day 4, Saturday - Split City Tour, Visit to Diocletian's Palace
Today we'll depart Dubrovnik and travel North along the spectacular Adriatic coast, past old fishing villages and new resorts, to Split. Upon arrival, view remnants of Split's Roman heritage and its Renaissance and Gothic structures by joining us for a city tour. This tour will feature the historic inner city, built around Roman Emperor Diocletian's Palace, a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site. You will also see Jupiter's temple which contains the 7th century sarcophagus of Ivan Ravenjanin, the first archbishop of Split who has the martyrs' relics taken to the cathedral, and a Mestrovic statue of John the Baptist. Continue on to the Cathedral where the emperor's body rested for 170 years until it mysteriously disappeared. Tonight, join us for dinner.

Day 5, Sunday - Visit to Plitvice Lakes National Park, Time at leisure
After breakfast we'll travel further North along the coast to Trogir, the center of artistic activities, where scholars from around the world gather to study and paint. Journey inland towards the beautiful Plitvice Lakes National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Discover the breathtaking scenery of this natural wonder which includes 16 terraced lakes surrounded by thickly wooded mountains and lush vegetation. A guided walk visits several of the lower lakes. Take some time on your own and then join us for dinner.

Day 6, Monday - Zagreb City Tour, Time at leisure
After breakfast, we'll depart for Zagreb, capital of Croatia. Upon arrival, enjoy a tour of the historic Upper Town. See St. Mark's Church, St. Catherine's Church, the Cathedrals, the Parliament and the Government Palace. The balance of the day is yours to venture on your own.

Day 7, Tuesday - Ljubljana Walking Tour
Today we'll make our way from Zagreb to Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia. Here you'll visit the open-air market, City Hall, Robba's Fountain, the Three Bridges and the Parliament. Afterwards, continue in the Julian Alps to Lake Bled.

Day 8, Wednesday - Visit to Bled Castle, Time at leisure
This morning we'll take you to the dominant rocky edge above Lake Bled where you'll find one of the oldest medieval fortresses in Slovenia, Bled Castle. You'll ascend a steep paved path, cross a wooden drawbridge and pass through several fortified walls into the lower court where your tour of the interior will begin. Enjoy the balance of the day at leisure.

Day 9, Thursday - Postojna Cave Tour with Train Ride, Visit to Lipice Stud Farm
Wake up and head to Postojna, site of one of the largest caves in Europe. Tour the subterranean world by an electric train and then visit Lipice Stud Farm. This estate has been a breeding preserve for over 425 years and is home to the famous Lipizzan Horses. Here you'll enjoy a walking tour of the grounds which sometimes include visits from the famous horses themselves. If interested you will also be able to book a riding lesson or even a horseback or carriage ride. Following this tour return to Lake Bled.

Day 10, Friday - Salzburg City Tour
After breakfast depart for Salzburg, home to the Sound of Music and birthplace of Mozart. Once in Salzburg we'll take a city tour and then the remainder of the day is yours to explore. In the evening join us for dinner.

Day 11, Saturday - Altoetting Sightseeing en route to Oberammergau
This morning travel to the tiny pilgrimage city of Altoetting . Upon arrival, visit the Chapel of Grace which is one of the most visited religious shrines in Germany. Here you will find the sacred icon of the Black Madonna. Celebrate Mass and then enjoy a brief lunch on us before heading to Oberammergau. Once in Oberammergau, check in to your hotel, freshen up, and join us for dinner.

Day 12, Sunday - Sunday Mass, Village Tour, Time at leisure, Passion Play
Attend morning Mass and then join us for a walking tour of the village. Then take some time to enjoy this quaint mountain village on your own. After lunch take your premium seats for the world famous Passion Play. The play has a running time of approximately 5 hours. Dinner is served during a 3 hour intermission.

Day 13, Monday - Depart for USA
Transfer to Munich Airport for your flight back to the USA.
